This little guide will explain how to connect to the PokerStrategy live chat room using chatzilla or mIRC. These are just examples; you can use any other IRC client too.
ChatZilla
ChatZilla is a Mozilla Firefox extension. It is free and compatible with all Firefox versions.
Step 1. Installation
Go to the download page and simply click the "add to firefox" button, then follow the instructions provided.
Step 2. Connection
You can find ChatZilla in Firefox under "Tools" -> "ChatZilla".
From there you will be able to connect to the quakenet server as shown in the following screenshot. Alternatively, you can type (without quotes) "/attach quakenet"
Once that's done, type (without quotes) "/join #pokerstrategy-en" to join the channel

mIRC

mIRC is a shareware stand-alone client, use it if you don't want to have to open firefox to use IRC
Step 1:
Download mIRC from mirc homepage
Installing mIRC should be self-explanatory.
Should you need help there is a guide at http://mirc.com/install.html.
Step 2:
After installing you need to fill in some info.
If you run mIRC for the first time a window will popup:

2) Select Quakenet from the Server menu.

3) Go to the options menu and set them like this:

4) Click the perform button

5) Set the settings like this:
Now you're all buckled up to chat with the rest of us about how much villains suck out. Just hit the little lightning icon to connect (or reconnect if you're already connected, and you should automatically join the channel.

//if this window doesn't pop up, simply enter, without quotes, "/join #pokerstrategy-en" in the chatbox, it will also take you to the channel
