Spoiler

$2.31 pot ($0.11 rake)
Final Board: 7 9 K A 6
UTG mucked and won $2.20 ($1.22 net)
Hero mucked Q J and lost (-$0.98 net)

Is my call a bit loose? villain pfr is 15 altogether. UTG range is smaller I would think but only have 100 hands.

I dont see the point of betting the turn as he has A in his range very often

Hi,

Preflop: with fish in the blinds (like BB) I don't mind calling. With regs there it's light because UTGs range is tighter. A 3-bet would most likely show a better profit long term (until we know more about villain).

Flop: As played, what range do you give UTG for ck/calling? Can we really see that many Ax hands in his range besides Axdd (sometimes) and maybe AQcc (or A9s/A7s)?

Turn: I would continue betting here make his TT-QQ and weaker Kx consider folding. Once we check back it's hard for us to win the pot anymore with Q high unless we hit the river.

And if we bet and get called we still have FD and gutshot.
