I think my bet sizing got me in trouble here. I should have bet closer to half pot on the flop and turn. If I do this I do not protect my hand however?

On review I don't think villain plays any semi-bluffs this way and it was a pretty easy fold. Betting smaller would have made it easier to fold. I think my mindset is a bit bad in these spots. Once I have 50bb invested I find it hard to fold.

Hi.

Protection is over-rated. Just halfpot all streets and if you get raised on the Turn you can consider folding.
