agreed. standard conti bet on the flop with a gutshot and a overcard against two. if you get raised you would have to call.
turn bet is good because there are many draws possible of which you are still ahead with your A high. so bet the turn and take a free showdown.
well played

I would bet the river for a chance for him to lay down 3 or a 4 or even a 9 (That's not the case here but could be, so many fish out there)

I don't agree..

He's passive fish and these kind of "players" don't fold pair in such case. I'd put him on pair (9, J?), flush draw or gutshot. He won't fold any pair after calling flop & turn and you're ahead against all busted draws (except AK but he probably won't fold it either), so check behind ;)

Its interesting. Against passive you should rather check. He seems to be passive. I dont think that he is bluffbetting with a Gutshot very often. Against Draws we cannot really protect because he calls anyway with a Gutshot, Flushdraw or open ended Straightdraw (T). We must punish passive Players by playing passive as well in the right Spots. Then a passive one misses Value and cant gain Value with his Toppair. Thats what we want. We have AT. If we're ahead, there are as good as no Cards we're scared of. Check Behind fold River to a Bet.

ah tbh i haven´t even thought about a turn check behind... i like the idea but don´t you think that there is still a quite high chance that he is going to bluff the river ? i mean: yes he is a bit passive but he isn´t THAT passive that we can rule out a river bluff hu with no showdownvalue, is he ?
furthermore: shouldn´t we try to protect our hand against a likely draw ?

where is my error in reasoning ? :)

//edit:
hm the longer i think about it the more i like the check behind ^^. but i still think that even this opponent will bluff a busted draw here from time to time. that´s the only thing i dislike about the check behind turn/fold river ui line
