I recently joined and I am currently on a page asking what type of poker I wish to play. It has limit, tournament and no-limit as the 3 options.

I was wondering what the difference between the tournament and no-limit options are.

Does the tournament section include a portion of limit tournaments?
Does the no-limit section include a portion on no-limit ring games?

I normally play tournament no-limit.

I have no interest in limit but can't decide what of the other two I should select. Any pointers would be welcomed.

Hi douglasjastewart,

no matter what you choose you will of course be able to play every poker variant that is available on the sie you are playing on.
The selection is only important for the poker quiz. The quiz will be about the variant you choose. So if you choose no limit the quiz will be about our no-limit articles.

I see. I guess the question I meant to ask was:

Are the no limit articles/quiz based on tournament or ring games and are the tournament article/quiz based on limit or no limit?

Oh sorry

The no-limit articles are based on ring games
(I think) the tournament articles are based on no-limit

The No-Limit articles are based on Shortstack Strategy play in NL ring games and the Tournament articles are based on No Limit SNG strategy
