The bad thing was he had AQ. I was just wondering if anyone would protect in any way against full house or AQ.

Hi atoks,
On the turn you should play for pot control with just TPGK - so call his donkbet and call a river bet - in this case, with the river pairing the Q, you can go broke, since all that beats you is AQ, Q9, sets (unlikely), and you will get paid off by lots of hands.
