      MP2: $2.11 (105.5 bb)
      MP3: $0.80 (40 bb)
      CO: $2.77 (138.5 bb)

      UTG+2: $8.14 (407 bb)
      Hero (MP1): $4.67 (233.5 bb)

      Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A Q
      UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 calls $0.02, Hero raises to $0.10, 6 folds, UTG+2 calls $0.08

      Flop: ($0.23) 3 A J (2 players)
      UTG+2 checks, Hero bets $0.10, UTG+2 folds

Opponent's stats were 49/2, I had several rocks sitting after me, so I guess preflop was safe/standard

On flop I bet as little as I could to make him call with whatever weak draws or pairs he could have, but he didn't bite. Any sense in checking behind here?

      Hi,

      Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: I think that betting small or checking behind versus a big fish 233 BB deep is a big mistake. You should actually bet a lot larger given how wet the board is. If he likes his hand he won't fold it.
