Hi everybody! I'm a romanian guy who is trying to become a fulltime poker pro. I work 8 hours a day for 350$ monthly, and it is very boring. I play poker seriously for 1 year with some some good tourney results and pretty much break-even in cash games due to my tilting days/months. Currently the romanian government is trying to regulate online poker, but I hope that they won't ruin it. If they do, I'm gonna really consider to move somewhere else.

So, my plan is the following:
      - Play 7-8 hours a day NL10 ZOOM on 4 tables Sunday-Friday
      - Daily 1-2 hour analyze hands and opponents
      - Maintain it until December
      - If I can do this, I will start 2014 as a grinder and go for Supernova

It sounds crazy, but it's doable. Last week I've tried it, here are the results:

I ran pretty bad in the last 2 days, but I hope Stars will let me run decent in the next months. I don't know if it's even possible to run above EV in ZOOM. I almost always pay off AA with KK, and my AA gets too many times cracked if I get it in pre. Anyone knows how to fold KK pre, is so, then teach me the secret please. :f_biggrin:

I'm going to post weekly probably, and if I fail, I'm gonna commit suicide..just kidding... no, really. :f_cry:

OK! It is very exhausting to work 8 hours then play poker for 8 hours more, but I won't give up! Played nearly 9 hours today, so it's time to get some rest. I gotta wake up at 6 AM.. :f_cry:

      Good night people.

      WEEK 1

As promised, here is the 1st update on my weekly results.

It was a really long week, and I feel great because of my results. Just finished today's session which went very well, but I still did some huge mistakes which cost me a lot of money. In a spot I thought I have a set of 55 when the board was 68K fd, and went broke with 4th pair. :f_mad:

Currently running 16/13/5, but I feel like I've been playing fairly spewy this week vs. some regulars, and some of them start to play back at me like in every hand we play against each other:

      PokerStars - $0.10 NL FAST - Holdem - 9 players
      Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

      BTN: $29.60
      Hero (SB): $11.17
      BB: $14.24
      UTG: $4.70
      UTG+1: $10.44
      UTG+2: $41.61
      MP: $13.18
      MP+1: $10.52
      CO: $12.08

Hero posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has J:diamond: T:diamond:

fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to $0.24, Hero raises to $0.90, fold, BTN calls $0.66

      Flop: ($1.90, 2 players) 7:spade: T:heart: 5:heart:
Hero bets $1.00, BTN raises to $2.40, Hero calls $1.40

      Turn: ($6.70, 2 players) 6:spade:
Hero checks, BTN bets $5.00, Hero raises to $7.87 and is all-in, BTN calls $2.87

      River: ($22.44, 2 players) 3:diamond:

Hero shows J:diamond: T:diamond: (One Pair, Tens) (Pre 41%, Flop 73%, Turn 86%)
BTN mucks A:heart: Q:club: (High Card, Ace) (Pre 59%, Flop 27%, Turn 14%)
      Hero wins $21.43

As I have seen so far, most of the regs are very honest, but few of them are capable to make moves like this. As I said I was playing pretty crazy this week, but today I tighened up a little bit, didn't bluff that much, and I made a 23bb/100 session over 6K hands, and obviously was running hot.

Enough talk, here is the graph for this week:

I was listening to this every day at least twice before and after every session. It's not over, until I WIN!

So I was looking around in the VIP Store, and was wondering, what should I do with my FPPs? In the past I exchanged them for t-shirts and stuff, but now I have all of them. At this moment I have 6K FPPs, and don't know how the cash game grinders use them. Should I wait until I reach Platinum Star and exchange it for cash, or is it more +EV to buy tourney tickets or play some satellites to bigger tourneys? :s_confused:

Yesterday was my day off, which does not mean, that I don't play poker, it means that I don't play cash, instead some turbo tourneys and the 2 weekly VIP freerolls. I made $20 so at least I did not lost, but also a little sad, because I could have a deep run if Mr. Stars could let me:

If I could ship this, I would have a 50BB stack, and maybe make some big score. :f_cry:

Whatever, today I'm going to start the grind again and build the roll. GL at the tables!

I felt like I'm playing decent today until this idiot reg came around, and that kind of s**t puts me on tilt really hard. He 3best 47% SBvsBU over 2.3K hands and not willing to fold vs 4bets, he calls 30%, push 50% and fold the rest. It seems other regs let him do that, but if he wants to pick a fight, he's gonna get it! :s_cool:

Yeah, maybe out of line a bit. But if he shoves that, he basically shoves any2, and A7o has 59% EQ. vs. that. Anyway, now I think that this guy holds a personal vendetta against me:

OK, that's enough for today. I withdrew my money from stars, only left 30BIs in it. I feel like I can't win a single bigger pot and my opponents always outflop or suck out on me. I'm tilted so much and spewed away a couple of BIs. I won't play for 1 or 2 days because I feel I have rest a bit. :f_frown:

Hey, thanks for the help bro. I really appreciate your help. I know my game has a lot of leaks and trying to fix those, still learning. A7o was really off and the J4s should be a call vs that spazzy reg. You never 3bet J10s from blinds, I mean if BU folds like 70-80% vs resteal?

It can't be bad,but I prefer postflop play vs a wideeeee rangeeeeeee!!!

In Sb always,in BB u get a to better price to see a flop with a hand that can't 3b for value hit Tp and stack off for 100bb's

Calling preflop keeps ure opponent wide range in play, which allow u to make moves ,flop, turn even river when u have a draw.

      NP.GL!!!

Saw ure play with A7o,and obv thought u have to study more&fast.GL!

      WEEK 2

      Let's see the graph first:

OK! I can tell this is ridicolous! I mean, I was playing so bad and so tilted that it hurts. Played a couple of hands yesterday and I felt I can go on and grind, but these f***ing idiots just tilt me baaad! Seriously I'm getting sick of fullring. Every f***ing time I have KK someone has AA 80% of the time and stacks me. And if I have AA, they call my 4bet IP and somehow always flop a set w/ QQ and JJ, because that's why they 3bet pre..to call 4bets. Geniuses!

Don't want to blame others because I suck, but how can a reg do this s**t :

      PokerStars - $0.10 NL FAST - Holdem - 9 players

      UTG+2: $9.86

BTN wins $19.53 Well played sir!

Good, that' enough whining. So what I'm going to do is leave that nitty s**t and give a shot to SH. It's not new to me, I have played a nice volume in SH so it should be fine. I just played 300 hands today just to see how it goes and saw a lot of players from the fullring tables and I have 9 handed stats on them, so it will be interesting.

An other thing I want to say is that I want to reach Platinum Star and I will have to play more:

Maybe I should play even on Saturdays? :s_confused:

OK. Overall this week was disappointing and feel a bit down but not goona let it make me depressed or feel like a loser. Maybe poker is not for me. I still have my job, so no financial problems so far, but it would be really great if I could make this grinding s**t. For real!

And then I can sing this..Good night people!
