couple of suggestions:

1) i dunno what your bankroll is, but if you have around $1k, I suggest you to stay on NL 10 only till you master the basics (learning articles by heart :)) and practice multitabling (at least 10 tables)

depending on how lucky you are, it may take up to 50k hands to climb a limit
so it makes sense to skip couple)

2) party is an awful place to start (at least it was last time I checked)). there are simply way to many low stakes ssers, which makes it less profitable for you

think about pokerroom (ongame), with 1000$ deposit bonus and less ss crowded low-mid stakes, you will climb 50-100 way faster

3) try to play more) i would recommend to try playing at least 3k hands per day
you really need to play a lot, if you want to build a bankroll with sss

4) think twice)) sss is quite profitable if played right, but not very exciting) basically its long hours of work with a low level of enjoyment) certainly requires a high amount of discipline to follow)
SnG's might be more exciting way to introduce yourself to No limit holdem)
The other option is NL BSS) there are NL 10 sh tables everywhere now)
NL 10 FR and Hasenbraten free public coachings will do the job as well)

1) I' can't fit more than 9 tables on my screen, but I'm going to buy a bigger one soon

2) Agreed. But coincidence has it that I just started there ♦ and precise, most of these SSSers are big fish with no patience. Btw, I'm playing FL on PokerRoom atm and I'm going to get the 1K$ bonus within 4 days max ♦

3) It's only a side project and I need the money from my FL games, since it's my only income, so I don't really think that playing more SSS is an option

4) I already usually play some SnGs, but just as practice for turneys. I'm not really looking for excitement, just a nice way to learn NL steadily and kind off take a break from FL from time to time, since basic SSS isn't really mentally exhausting or anything.

I might think about adding some money into it if it goes okey later so I can climb faster, that is a good idea, but I'll first see how this goes

I haven't posted fro a while, why? Because I was pretty busy with everyday life(still am), but I decided to take a moment to update this little "project" of mine.

So I got a new screen(22") and now I can play more tables, yay! I started playing 12 at a time now. I would play more, but for some reason PartyPlanner doesn't work and the integrated table manager doesn't want to remember that the tables ware on the other screen So basically I have to do everything manually which is really hard to do while playing^^

Now there's another problem. My 20$ bonus expires today, but I think that if I play a decent amount of hands today I can still clear it Also I decided that I'm going to invest ~50$ after a while to help me move up(that is if I stop running bad at FL anytime soon^^)

After that I'm also going to have a look at the more "advance" SSS articles and try to use them.

I'm sorry for not affirmative reply, but I don't understand the reasons to do that..
Really, if you want to try SSS, go for that, deposit some money, start on NL25 and play it all the time! Take a break from FL SH if you think you need it, but mixing them up is something I don't understand.

lol; if it's because of money, go back to where you can earn them (5-10 BB), but don't waste your time to get $20 It can be interesting for someone who just started with online poker, but you have 60x bigger BR.. Seriously, deposit some money, focus 100% just on this and learn (and learn and learn...).

We both know you can be successful with whatever you choose, but you should stick to only one game at the time.

btw: I'll learn SSS and then NL SH in few months too, but I'll take break from FL during that.. That's just my point of view, so don't blame me too much

I think you missed the point a bit. I want to learn NL and I'm starting from the beginning. Maybe NL10 is a bit low, that's why I decided to put some more money into it.

And about mixing. I don't really see a problem. For some ppl it might be, but I think I'm capable of completely separating multiple strategys. After all I have been playing and learning about FL and SnG/turneys all at the same time and playing SSS and FL in the same day doesn't really affect how I play them.

About that 20$ remark of mine, yeah it's funny ♦ But I don't like moving money around that much(time, laziness etc.) so the easiest way for me would be just to keep it

PS: If I'd concentrate just on NL I wouldn't get enough money for everyday stuff, so that's a no go.

for introduction it doesn't really matter what to play nl 10 or 50)
the question is what are you trying to introduce yourself to?) Basic sss is a great introduction for complete n00bs in poker) I really don't think you have much to learn there... except for preflop equity maybe)

Go for micro stakes sh if you want to learn smthing)

Equity should be something that every FL players has a good feeling about
