BB: $50 (100 bb) Villain was 17-14 after 71 hands, bb3betvsbtn 33, a.f. 4.0, but cbet flop just 33.

CO: $50 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with Q♥ A♣
3 folds, Hero raises to $1, SB folds, BB raises to $3.50, Hero calls $2.50

Flop: ($7.25) 2♦ A♦ Q♦ (2 players)
BB bets $5, Hero raises to $15, BB raises to $27.50, Hero ???

I guess given the action I AM way waaaaay behind now even with top two but ... But still, can I really fold here ? ...

Heyo,

Pre is good vs such a tight player.

Your flop raise is too large - you're only 100bbs deep and villain is already betting very large on the flop. I don't think you have (m)any bluffs in your flop raising range for this size. The weakest hand i can see u raising for this size would be (KdJx) which isn't really a bluff given the massive equity that hand has vs anything on this board.

Once you raise this big vs this cbet size, I don't even mind folding - regardless of how ridiculous it sounds. I can't really find a hand that you beat anymore... Would be a sick hero fold but I think that's what i like here.

Yeaaaah, I was thinking the same thing ... since he cbets that big and then 3bets after my big raise, I also do not see anything that I beat ... Of course I ended up still calling cause there were so much money already invested and I'm the fish and just couldn't fold my top two ... :facepalm: Ended up rivering a boat, but was up against the 8:d5:d, so got my money in 10% favourite ... ♦
