Does anyone come across 'sticking points' (for want of a better term) in anvancing their learning/bankroll. Asking the question after making good progress to a bankroll of $155, then downswing to 120. Built back to 155, down to 135. I'm confident i will break through, as i had the same thing happen at the $100 mark, but just wondering if others seem to come acroos this same happening as well.

yes pal, but not for too long. ive had two main sticky points. At £150 it took me a few days to wobble over then flew to £350. Then I spent a week varying between £250 and £350 until yday when i went over £400 which is where I am now :) Keep playin well, keep reading the articles, and dont get bogged down into other players standards. You will push through it.

120$.... I can't beat it somehow. I just go up and down from that point by around 30$
Will try again some other time cause I got no money on my account right now.

Around $100. I got to $98 once, fell down, got then to $105, another downswing, then I reached $110 and after that began the biggest downswing in my game - I fell down to $25-30 (having the additional bonus cleared). Now I'm somewhere in the middle and I hope I'll be able to reach above :)

My BR has been around the $3000 for like 6 months, just catch 1 good upswing and you're through ;)

Better advice is to just forget about money, and play as good as you can.

I think $150 is your first major "sticking point" for the simple reason that up until that point you are playing limits that eat your BR with rakes and fees, and have small payouts regardless. I found that once I was able to play NL25 and $5 SnG my roll shot up real quick!
