Could this be the shortest blog in the world? I have decided to blog my efforts to spin up a $2 bank roll while taking shots with only four buy ins for each level. Obviously this is highly unorthodox but I think it could be an interesting project. I have done it once before and made it all the way to NL25 before tilting it all away. I hope I have matured as a poker player in the time since I last attempted this. My challenge will follow the following rules.

:diamond: Once I have 4 buys in for the next limit I must move up and play as many tables as are available.

:heart: Once I drop below 3 buy ins I must drop down to my last level.

:club: I will play at least half an hour ever weekday.

:spade: I will update this blog after each session.

I will try and post any interesting hands that come up. I already started the challenge today and so the BR is already at $6.32. Any rake back will be added to my bankroll.

I am going to run the challenge for roughly 3 months. It will end on the 31st of July 2014. At the end of the challenge and if the BR is below $250 I will give it to the person with the most posts on my blog. Or alternatively donate it to a charity of their choosing (As unlikely as that might be). If it is over £250. I will spend it on coaching with TwiceT or some other such sicko and give the remainder of the balance to the person with the most posts on my blog.

I am open to hearing any prop bet ideas but I can't think of any right now.

A bit about me....
I am Alex. 33 years old from Scotland but currently living in Tasmania. I would say I am a small winner at NL10sh and I have been playing poker for about 4ish years. I currently play about 4-5k hands per day of zoom.

Had a quick 35 minute session today. Still shocked by how many limpers there are. And how much folding to 3bets there is. I am going to have to start thinking about flatting my big hands more.

Anyway I could have folded this first hand?? I was expecting to see JQ before his actual hand.

oh so that's you ♦ saw you around on the nl10 tables, marked you as one of the regs who actually had some positional awareness (that's rather rare in nl10 apparently)

as for the first hand, you have only 60bb against fishy guy so definitely not folding top set, i mean in the worst case (as it happened) you still have a decent draw. you could consider being more scared with 88 but still don't like it when you're both shorter

i wouldnt fold top set at that table, and at those limits you actually can never be sure what and how fishes playing, so just to reload and get the money back,,,

Played half an hour today ladies and gentleman. The first 15 minutes were pretty boring but it picked up in the second half. The prize pool is now standing at a whopping $8.47 (Anyway I can make the prize pool amount flash????) That is a huge profit today of $2.04 Almost half way to the next milestone of $20 and then I can start playing NL5.

On a serious note. I think the challenge is a really good way to start the day before my normal grind. It gets me into a tight style of play and will hopefully stop me from bluffing off stacks in the first 10 minutes of my regular sessions as I have been known to do from time to time.

Called pre as there are very few people 3betting anything but premium hands from what I can tell. Thought I had a good chance to get his stack if I hit. First time I was able to call anything to set mine as every other time the other guy was a shortie I thought about raising flop but wanted to keep his bluffs in and to CR turn. Probably best to raise the flop OOP. I just wanted to get as much of his stack as possible as with only half an hour a day to play on this challenge, I need to maximize my profits.
