Raise the flop for value.

Have you read this article abouth how to play your draws? You should check it.

If atleast 2 players will call our raise on the flop we can raise for value with a flushdraw. In your example the pot is 4 handed so we can expect atleast 2 players to call here wich makes our raise profitable.

As played i dont like to 3bet this turn because we need to improve our hand to a flush if we want to win this hand.

I did read that article. But if somehow you read this :), can you please explain what you mean by 'for value'?

I just called in this case because I wanted to get there as cheaply as possible.


I think he wanted to say that raise will be profitable on average (imagine if you raise this flop and pot will be 14sb, and you hit flush draw on turn 1/4 times, so 14-3x4=+2sb EV+ ), so this means for value.
