The PokerStrategy Social Network has gone online. The current Beta version already offers you the features you know from other communities. You are able to:
* … create your own profile including your own guest book.
* … search for other members and add them as friends.
* … bring communities of interests to life , so-called groups.
* … exchange messages with your friends or talk to them directly in the chat.

The current version is however still a Beta. There are lots of features that still need to be added and lots of improvements to be made.

Give your feedback and your suggestions here, so that we can do our best to implement them.

First impression after sudden appereance:

Looks nice and it's a nice feature to the site. I hope it can make ground for more study groups maybe. I think it could be good for that.

First of all: Great Idea. I like the functionability( there is no such word I know but still :P) and would love to set up a nice profile, find buddies etc...

Feedback:

If i try to use the search function, the system logs me out...and nothing happens. It s kinda annoying.

1. Add more fields in contact options: Skype, ICQ, MSN etc.
2. Can anyone tell me if my phone number is visible or not?? Because I can't change it in options (not working scroll bar)
3. make it faster please :)
4. there should be an option to add link to personal blog in profile

What about tossing in current BR view, or graph, daily or monthly
For those who want it to be displayed ofc, i think newbies would like that

make it faster ffs.

btw, it seems like it loads faster next time.

Its... gone. Atleast for me. Was there yesterday.. but not anymore today

Also the chat didn't work.


I play on GGpoker even though it says Pokerstars. None of my hand histories will have villain stats.

Can you make bigger upload picture sizes. First time I tried to upload a picture they tell me it was too big. It wasn't... just 17.6Ko!!!!

Yes there were some performance issues, which is why we will try to fix these before relaunching it :)

I noticed the community is available through direct links. Is this purposely or?
Also it seems to be running a lot faster now, so I was just wondering when it would become fully implemented?

I have created a group in the community now and it has got members. That's cool. But what can we do with that group? I can create news but when I create one, the old one gets overwritten which I think is a shame.

So my question is if the groups can be used for anything? And do members get notified when news are updated?

I intoduced my wife valann and she joined FULL TILT POKER as valanne but i did not recieve any bonus for this and i am a bit miffed.

This thread is for feedback on our community tool which can be found here: http://www.pokerstrategy.com/community/ and not on PokerStrategy in general.

I am also a bit confused by your sentence since valann did receive the $50+$50 starting capital and has been playing with for the last weeks...

Hey Kimber,

Xantos somewhat answered this in a blog post of his: http://confidential.pokerstrategy.com/Features_that_compete_for_Activity

Essentially atm groups are simple tags that can link to threads. They - just as the rest of the community feature will surely evolve as time progresses yet there is not specific time frame for this ;)
