If you look at the SHC you can see that a raise and a call should be called with 66. After you there would have been a 3bet and a cap and you should fold then. Not much more to say there.

i agree with the first sentence kimber said but imo it doesn´t make sence to coldcall a raise but then fold to a 3-bet and a cap because your odds are much better and your payoff will be better as well if you hit your set. or did i missread something ?

maybe have another look at the shc gambit. afair the KQ hand was missplayed preflop as well :)

the charts actually do say that you can call one raise behind you, but should fold to a raise + reraise behind you

(at least the basic and the bronze do, don't know about the silver)

i will have a look at it but imo that doesn´t make sence (with pockets)

just to make sure i got it right:
we are talking about something like this:
everybody folds, MP3 raises, CO coldcalls, HERO coldcalls, SB folds, BB 3-bets, MP3 caps, CO calls/fold, HERO ?
right ?

Folding here would be indeed stuipid. This needs to be corrected as you have to coldcall 2 bets again with better odds with which you can draw to a set.

Can somebody give me a link to this article?

After reading that again it actually doesn't say what to do if there is another raise preflop.

I've had a similar problem recently where I've made an error pre flop by calling a raise - re-raise. Mine was a LOT more obvious than this example but I made the error because of what I think is ambiguity in the Bronze article "Preflop: Advanced Play Before the Flop".

Is there any chance of having these situations clarified in the article? I think there will be a lot of errors being made due to a lack of clarity.

And frankly I just about need everything bold typed, double spaced in 26 point fonts to avoid making errors :(

To be clear... we are calling ANY PP preflop to two bets, but folding some PP to just a raise? Which PP would we fold here? 88 or lower?

Sorry, I'm not sure I follow the correct play and I know this is an error I'm making at the moment. Thanks for any further clarification folks :)

No we aren't coldcalling any pocketpair. But if you do you don't fold it anymore preflop.
Did I understood you correctly or is something still unclear? :)

@Kimer88: Thank you for the link I will forward it to our article writers. :)

Cool, thanks ciRith - just perhaps a misreading on my part... once in with a pocketpair preflop we're calling to a CAP. Clear as.
