SB bets 240, Hero calls 240

Turn: (1,920) 8♣ (2 Players)
SB bets 240, Hero calls 240

River: (2,400) 5♠ (2 Players)
SB bets 240, Hero calls 240

Results: 2,880 Pot
First 2 gets a satellite entry.
Villain was a callstation too, with very little aggression. He raised, so that meant he has something, but it was a minraise, which is mostly some weaker pair. I didn't want to fold, because I felt I had 6 pure outs, any king or queen would have helped....
But I think it was wrong, I dont really have the odds, and this play sacrifices too much of my stack, when there are 2 shortstacks at the table....

PS: I played 4 games today, 3of them was a 1st place : D I made up for yesterday's 8BI loss, yeeaah... These low stake satellite games are so juicy , even for me.

Preflop is OK

On the flop raise or fold... often this min bet is what I call donk strength... a raise here will give you all the info you need... he calls, has a made hand, he pushes, you fold...

Calling all streets = means you were the calling station in this hand...

Otherwise good to hear your doing well... keep it up :P

I fold it on the flop. No need in getting involved with the bigstack here.

But if you say I cant blind steal with KQ then what could I steal with?? He wasnt such a callstation against whom stealing was hopeless. If I keep being as passive and tight as you usually advise to, I am going to be eaten by the blinds... :/

I said fold it ON the flop, not preflop ^^

btw, when have I ever advised you to be passive and tight? Doesn't sound like me

Hi all,

Preflop and flop are fine. I would fold my hand on the turn. You don't have 6 clean outs, you have more like 6 really horrible outs that get you into trouble if you hit.

As played fold on the river.
