Poker Stars $6.00+$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t200/t400 Blinds + t25 - 4 players

SB: t2493 M = 3.56
Hero (BB): t2520 M = 3.60
CO: t1305 M = 1.86
BTN: t7182 M = 10.26

Pre Flop: (t700) Hero is BB with Q♠ 5♥
CO raises to t1280 all in, 2 folds, Hero calls t880

Final Pot: t2860

I had to call 880 to win 1980. If I fold I become a shortstack, if I win I'm in the money. Villain is a regular winning player and can push with a wide range maybe 30% or more here. I thought about it for a while, and figured losing and folding were both about as bad so I called.

Nice call I think. I would call this, too, becaue as you said folding is equally bad nd here you have a good chance of busting him. I wouldn't expect to be actually ahead here but still, the odds are great and you have nothing to lose..
