Here it is an easy call for me since I know villain will bet any flop here... I did not had the feeling I had enough FE preflop to push, that's why I checked and hope for a good flop.

Now my real question is, would you play like this against an unknown? Regular? ...

Flop: J♥ Q♠ 8♠ (400, 2 players)
j_halt_07 goes all-in 2,760, Hero goes all-in 695

I would push preflop here against anyone in this situation for these reasons.

1. You won't have FE ever again. (unless you double up here)
2. A push now may get a call from a worse hand.
3. Against a better hand you probably have live cards.
4. The pot is 400, you have 695 left.
5. You are IP, so can't shove first postflop.

It doesn't really matter if SB is completing a strong hand as a trap, or because he's weak, or for the odds. I would just push there. He should never fold anything if you do, but who knows, maybe he is weak, and might.
