spit22: almost all factors that you listed for folding were true, while almost none of the ones favoring the push
I had a very tight image, doubled up twice recently (2 hands ago) with very good holdings, similar preflop action
alejandro: he had 10,500 chips, I had around 6000, I couldnt see him doing it with AQ/AJ risking being crippled. I raised from mp2 or mp3 I think, that was the reason why I ended up calling, although my guts were telling me to fold it. I thought he had a pair for sure.
I didnt know if it's better to flip or fold in this scenario, as I still had a good-ish stack compared to the rest of the table even if I folded.
In the end I shipped it, as it was an ace and a king, even zooted, and I couldn't help myself from gambling
He had 99 which won the gamble and I went busto.
What about his play? If I were in his place, with 10k chips, would a ship with nines be correct against 6k chips, with just one other player left to act (the BB)?
