Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Texas Grabem 1.9 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is CO with 8:heart:, K:heart:
2 folds, Hero raises to $1,00, BU calls $1,00, 2 folds.

Flop: ($2,35) T:club:, T:diamond:, J:diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, BU checks.

Turn: ($2,35) 8:club: (2 players)
Hero checks, BU checks.

River: ($2,35) 4:diamond: (2 players)
Hero bets $1,50, BU calls $1,50.

Final Pot: $5,35

I didn't like that it was a diamond... still it worked: he called and I won ... what did I do there and why did it work lol

C-bet flop or just check/fold till the end, there is no point to bet the river.

I didn't look it up but he probably had low pocket pair... can't see another hand I win against.

He probably thought your line doesn't make sense so he called with his low pp/8 lower kicker/4. Rive value bet is thin but ok from his play he doesn't have a 10,j or flush draw.

Of course river bet is thin. A big one will never be a valuebet here bc I don't get called by small pockets.

I would c-bet on that board, since you raised pf and I don´t like to take c/f line.
c/c line is fine
nice valuebet, he almost never has there flush (he would bet on the flop or turn with draw) and he would call with any pair, since your hand doesn´t make any sense.
