Hi am i wright in assuming that to get my first $10 bonus released I have to get 105 strat points as this is equivalent to the $35 of rake (as on titan poker you get 3sps for every $1 rake (35*3=105)). If any can clarify this that would be most helpful.

It is right as you say. You get 10$ for every 105 StrategyPoints, so you need 1050 SP to clear whole 100$ bonus :P
