      Ok let me start.

I play poker now 13 months.

Short history is. I sucked at start thinking i know enough than i readed articles watch movies went good playing first NL2 with 1$ than 2$ than BSS FR NL2 and NL4. Than after 2 months i gave NL20 SSS a try went extremly well since i made 200$ in 10 days lol. So i played SSS 8 months with some SNGs and SH tries and i made some small profit but was sth. like 3-4$ per hour so not ok.

Now i play NL10 SH 2 months with some jump to NL25 i love it is going great so i plan to switch to NL25 in April and to NL50 in June. I think NL50 is more than enough for me but we will see how it will go. I hope to live from poker since all i need is 1000-1200$ each month to have an ok life style.

Thats it i have to go to work,

      Hello!

      My current goals are:

-To build up my bankroll (I have 13$ BR atm, playing 0.10$ 360 man sng's on pokerstars)
-To clear bonuses i still have to clear on FTP and pokerstars
      -To improve my MTT gameplay
-To play at a final table of a tourny with prize pool > $1k
      -To win a MTT
-To become a gold status member eventually

These are some short and long term goals, but the most important is certainly to improve my MTT gameplay and play according to BRM. By doing this, i might be able to get rich someday by winning a few high buy-in tourneys :) . but patience is the most important... I'm sure i can acheieve pretty much all that in a few months... If i play according to BRM :) .

My blog which you find here explains my goals pretty well I think :)

Haven't updated in a while because of unstable internet and no sessions. Now I'm back with steady interwebz and ready to grind again, so more regular updates can be expected :)

My goal is simple.............proficiency at poker.

To me that means doing poker as a sustainable stand alone entity that actually pays for itself and hopefully becomes profitable in the future.

At the moment my win rate ($100/month) is good but does not even cover my $190/ month internet bill!

And to keep Capatin Eaglestar (congrats on your 'promotion') happy I would like Donkey Patrol to win the BOTD............. :D

best stake giveaway ever, since goals are super-important when you take poker seriously ^^

Started making goals every month in my blog, and I check at least once during the month how I'm doing with 'm. End of the mond I evaluate my results and my goals: were they realistic, usefull, ...

Ill translate my goals for march:
      - play 600 sng's (only regulars, no speed for now)
      - get my money out of the neteller system (long story, they are keeping it ransom)
      - Do more sessionreview (especialy at the new pokerclient)
      - move a part of my bankroll to another poker client (prolly stars) (completed  )
      - find out about nash: what's it based on, when to use it, ...
      - all the above as relaxed as possible
      - little les weed
      - follow more classes
      - enjoy the lovely spring climate (or so I hope )
      -... (can add more)

A lot has changed though since I started playing on stars, my perspective is different now. My volume can go way higher, I'm tracked by ps again (so I'll have to start catching up with all the video productions I missed).
I'm also gonna change my volume goal, because I hope to reach PlatinumStar this month (way more point-efficient start of next month), and plan to be supernova before the end of the year (longterm goal).

Because I'm using the table-ninja software on pokerstars sessionreview is alot easier: there's a hotkey to grab the hands you doubt on while you play! I'm gonna have to start using that (alot), only figured out at the end of last session how it works. This means I can add another goal: post a shitload of hands on the forum ^^

Long term goals (like for 2009):
      - reach high limits (sng): wonna be established and winning on 50-60$ in december

I'm pretty happy about those goals, they are realistic and decent. I need 'm because I'm a huge slacker
Most of the goals are volume or strategy based, that's one of the things I learned since making goals: downswing can happen, moneybased goals are bad.

Nope - this is Carrier Pidgeon speed internet..........this is Deepest Darkest Africa........and I only get this rate because my buddy is MD of the internet company........the going rate is $240/month!!and we have many disconnects during the day and the bandwidth is oversold slowing it down even more.

Very nice to see goals in here! I especially like that some people put some real effort in it - and seem to have very good goals (so mainly learning/improvement related ones)

I'm going to be gracious though and give away stakes to everyone who posted (and doesn't yet have a stake) so here the staking bonanza:

viewer88, mishuq, andyb43, darkonebg, slikec, Kimber88, ovechkin91, PokerKingMatt, kreuzfeld, SheepMoose, mortimeral

Congrats and dont forget to sign-up with your PokerStars name in the thread - in case you arent yet in a team: Battle of the Donkeys March 15th: 15k GTD #3
