best stake giveaway ever, since goals are super-important when you take poker seriously ^^
Started making goals every month in my blog, and I check at least once during the month how I'm doing with 'm. End of the mond I evaluate my results and my goals: were they realistic, usefull, ...
Ill translate my goals for march:
- play 600 sng's (only regulars, no speed for now)
- get my money out of the neteller system (long story, they are keeping it ransom)
- Do more sessionreview (especialy at the new pokerclient)
- move a part of my bankroll to another poker client (prolly stars) (completed )
- find out about nash: what's it based on, when to use it, ...
- all the above as relaxed as possible
- little les weed
- follow more classes
- enjoy the lovely spring climate (or so I hope )
-... (can add more)
A lot has changed though since I started playing on stars, my perspective is different now. My volume can go way higher, I'm tracked by ps again (so I'll have to start catching up with all the video productions I missed).
I'm also gonna change my volume goal, because I hope to reach PlatinumStar this month (way more point-efficient start of next month), and plan to be supernova before the end of the year (longterm goal).
Because I'm using the table-ninja software on pokerstars sessionreview is alot easier: there's a hotkey to grab the hands you doubt on while you play! I'm gonna have to start using that (alot), only figured out at the end of last session how it works. This means I can add another goal: post a shitload of hands on the forum ^^
Long term goals (like for 2009):
- reach high limits (sng): wonna be established and winning on 50-60$ in december
I'm pretty happy about those goals, they are realistic and decent. I need 'm because I'm a huge slacker
Most of the goals are volume or strategy based, that's one of the things I learned since making goals: downswing can happen, moneybased goals are bad.
