Hmm... What kind of flop you wanna see to continue with your hand? You hit your top pair, you have to call at least once here and reevaluate on the turn IMO.

Preflop: You can call here IP or fold, both are fine I think

Flop: You hit your ace (which is not TPTK btw - its TPGK (good kicker)), and decide to fold to his cbet? If that was your plan, then you must fold preflop.
I prefer to raise to $2.6 here for information so you don't have to call down more bets later and possibly pay off a better kicker. If you get reraised you can easily fold, if he calls then atleast you have a good possibility of getting a free/cheap showdown.

Calling would be an option if you think he's capable of barrelling twice with worse hands, but against unknown I prefer to raise

I'd also call minbet pf and call at least one bet on flop? What are you looking for on flop if you folding top pair ok kicker to cbet?
