31st of March, 2009.

A momentous day. I just watched "Taken" and "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" with the gf. It's 2:05pm and I have a lab that started 5 minutes ago, but I don't care. Tomorrow will be my first full day of my new lifestyle. It is confirmed I have financial support from my parents till at least the end of the year, and also I can come back to university at a later date if I so wish.

Last week I had some bad variance + I just made a sizeable withdrawal.

Bankroll stands at ~$5500.

I hope this blog serves as an inspiration to any budding poker player, and if anything, will give you a better insight into the ups and downs associated with pokering full time

It's gonna be a tough but (hopefully) rewarding experience.

First milestone is making supernova, from there rakeback will be sweet.

I'm gonna only update this blog from now on every 1-2 days. Off to grind the 3/6s, will move back up to 5/T later on.

Played a decent ~3 hour session today ranging from 4-8 tables. So I lied about tomorrow being the first day, this is kind of a 1/3 day, tomorrow being my first full day.

2k hands +483$, pretty upswingy near the end. Gonna see tomorrow a rough idea of how many hands I can do in a day at the current multitabling levels. Also going to go for my first morning run EVER!

Wish you luck on your quest, and even more important than luck, I wish you discipline, determination, good disposition and positive thinking =). I too aim for being a professional before the year ends. I have experienced pretty bad variance in the last few weeks, but it's all in a day's work eh? Gotta keep a positive mindset and variance always sums up to 0 in the end.

You play FL by the way, right? You'd need a hyper aggro BRM to play 3/6NL on 5,5k
