Was capping flop to much since I was left HU?

(I know that raise preflop was a bit off-limit.)

Hi!

Preflop o.k. I like such light isolation bets especially if the limper is bad calling station.

On flop:
you can always raise FD when you have 2 op. and straight vs 3 op. In this case your first raise is o.k. but after his 3-bet when you are just two left there is no point in capping. It is not for value and you are clearly behind so you have close to 0 fold equity on later streets.

Turn and river are fine

Hello!

Preflop raise is alright if the villain had 50+ VPIP. However I suggest that you stick to the SHC and raise K9s+ from here since you don't have the required knowledge and experience to do such thin isolation bets. When you reach gold member status you should get the approx chart and read the topics on expert preflop play and then start using it. There is really no need to deviate from the silver chart on this limit.

Postflop I agree with Bapsy, you don't have 50% equity that you need to cap flop here but rather 35%.

Primzi
