I had a read on the BB that he'd probably was about to fold. Also I expected to be ahead of the UTG's range. Is this call justified?

Guess it should've folded since my equity is only about 55%

Yeah this is a pretty standard fold since even 60% Equity should not be enough to justify a call here. You still have foldequity left and can push the next hand into the short UTG.

No, with AK it should be a close Call since we are 2nd shortstack and have a Equity >60% against a loose UTG range.
