I finally got my press pass and I was able to get into the casino. For that, I had to go through the backdoor, through the basement with the electricity panels, some random old stuff and a lot of dust. I know this sounds like a scenario from a bad horror movie but I'm not even exaggerating.
I have a lot of things to tell you guys but to get the first update up already, I'll just round it up now. The tournament director just (as in: 10 seconds ago) announced the shuffle up and deal after an endless speech about mostly boring stuff.

So, for those of you that don't know yet, we're not allowed to take any pictures here inside the casino. It's a real shame, because some of our players are looking ridiculously hot today. I'll try to keep the reporting as interesting as possible without the use of visual material.
The position of the press is really cool though. We're sitting on a stage about 2 meters above the poker tables. This really gives us an awesome overview on the room and I think it will be really easy to follow how everyone is doing from here.

There will be no dinner breaks and the tournament will end about 21:00-21:30 every day.

Nazgul is down about 3k. He says he's got some interesting hands for me which he will tell me about during the break.
Allanon seems about break even.
Nazgul is down to 18k.
He cold 4bet with KK and got 5bet shoved and folded.
He told me that in the next level he would've gone broke but now it was still ok to fold.
The other guy didn't tell him what he had though but Tim made sure that he overheared him saying he had KK.
Allanon still seems break even.
Jan is up to about 27k.
Just saw him call an openraise to 500 (blinds 75-150) on the big blind.
Flop came: 9:h2:s6:s and Jan check/called the cbet.
Turn and river were: 4:h7:c and it was checked down.
Jan showed AQo and the other guy mucked.
I have 131 names on the list but they are still taking registrations for today. A lot of players switched to Day 1b so we expect a much larger field tomorrow.

It gets checked to the guy on his right which bets out 400.
Allanon raised to 1.2k.
BB check/raises to 3.5k.
Allanon called because he doesn't want to get shoved holding 7hi.
Turn: 5:h
BB bets half the pot
Allanon calls
River: A:h
Both players check
Villain shows QJo and takes down the pot.
On another hand he isolated with AKo on the Button.
The board came: KQ23J
Allanon bet the flop and the turn and got check/called twice.
On the river he thinks the only reasonable hand he beats is KTo so he checks behind.
Villain eventually showed him a K but mucked.
Nazgul was less fortunate.
You already know about the KK hand.
Another hand he had KQs and openraised UTG.
Guillaume de la Gorce called him on the CO.
The flop came: KQ6

Nazgul's table broke and now he's sitting next to Jan (not collado) which is also a German player and a good friend of Daniel. He has 8.6k left.
We're half way into level 4 with blinds 150/300.
