[Closed] 1$ sng 88 call

You have <13bb so are in push/fold mode... this is an open fold, and DEFINITELY a fold after you raise and he shoves.
I probably open-shove something like... TT+ AQ+... maybe 99+

Firstly, once you do raise this which I wouldnt, you raise and call to the shove from that stack size.

Secondly on these limits open folding this is just too tight IMO. 88 is a shove here not a fold.

This doesn't make much sense dude. Why would you push looser than normal when you know that "on these limits" players will call you with very bad hands, AND you will find much better spots later?

They call with much worse then 88 as well as having to flip or waking up with hands.

I played 16 tables at a time at the $1s. For simplicity I see this as being the bottom of
my pushing range into this table from UTG. I push for simplicity and move on. The hands
that have called me are just sick. serious Q4s, 55, Ace rag constantly. Not getting cute
and raising here just pushing and moving right along. Against people that will happily
give you their stack with garbage 88 is just too strong to open fold IMO. And as you
said you are in push fold here.

88 does really well against resteal ranges... not so well against calling ranges...

But I guess on this limit players will flat call you so often.. and put you into a weird spot if you raise this hand...

But thats in general I'm not talking about this particular hand...

since to me it's an open fold.. but as stated before I'm not too sure how the micros work anymore so 897- is probably right about shipping this.. Feels borderline anyways since 99 is clearly a shove

I just push this hand UTG. This is the bottom of my range though. My range is something like AJs+, 88+, AQo+. If you minraise you should fold to a shove, especially when villain shoves from that position.

I fold 77 as well, just a question though, if you 2.5x raised which I wouldnt you call the shove
from that stack size even from his position right? Never mind obvious answer its too early in the AM

If you 2.5x'd it you're committed with a very wide range of hands... probably even 22
