1) This hand might have been overplayed at the river depending on the opponent. UTG+2 limp raises. Usually this is done with cap hands but some weaker players like to do it with drawing hands like a suited connector.

The strong action on the flop points to a strong hand of UTG+2. Major candidates are KK, AK, 99. This all is consistent with the play on the Turn until the cap. KK and 99 are still likely, with 99 somewhat overplayed by now. There is also the possibility of a flush, perhaps with Q♣J♣. AK would warrant a cap no more. A set + a flush draw is not possible apart from 33.

Hero happily donkbets into the Cap at the river and at last this should get UTG+2 thinking. (I would have preferred a checkraise though.) There are not that many hands that Hero can play this strongly. Basically AA and that's it. If UTG+2 has a pocket he can't beat this, as he can have at best KK. And yet he raises, so he thinks he can beat it. Therefore my prime candidate after the river raise now is a flush for UTG+2s hand. Since AA will be no longer in front most of the time if the opponent is any reasonable at all I will only call.

2) One could think at checkraising the flop but the turn play is beyond doubt after check/calling the flop. If Button has top pair or 2nd pair better kicker which he often has he has as many as 9 Outs against Hero that have to be protected against. If he has a flush draw he may have even more Outs. There is a little danger of giving Button a free card. More often he will valuebet/bluff/semibluff. A free card would be hurting but be not as damaging as in a big pot. If the pot was bigger, like 5 BB, I would bet. But with the small pot, a probable additional bet is worth more than risking the free card.

1) I like it. The only hands which beat us are a flush or the straight. Both is unlikely. The limp-raise preflop and the action on the flop looks like KK or AK, maybe 99.

2) It is highly supposable that villain bets the turn again. Our hand is very strong justifying a raise. We also prevent a free sd with leading the river.

1) Of course he might have hit his flush but most of the time he is overplaying his hand so we want to extract the most of him. The 3-bet on he river is close and the decision may differ with stats.

2) Check/raise is the best play as you already mentioned because he will nearly always bet again.
