We do beat all 2 pair combos but that's about it, unless he has something like AT here.

That said we're getting 8-1 against a really wierd agressive type player. I'd pay this off but it'd be a crying call, I wouldn't expect to make much money long term with this call but I'd be ok making it.

Isnt there river a check behind, because opponent can have oesd from the flop on(8,9)?

That was my next question, can I actually check behind here? I think it is too weak and we have a thin valuebet.

nemiren, if you look at the player he's got an aggression factor of close to 1 when combined with an 80 VPIP. That's pretty darn aggressive, if he had a 30VPIP his AF could well be over 2 based on how he probably plays postflop. I would actually drop hands like 89, 8T etc to a much lesser degree in his range as I'd expect him to raise those almost always at some point.

We can definitely get an A-High or lower pair calldown here. Whether he should do that is open for question but I expect him to be SD bound here so I think it's a good value bet.

Also just noticed, is that 14 River c/r? That's absurd, he's either running insanely hot and has been constantly rivering people for 1000 hands or he's got some bluffs in his range...quite a few probably.
