I was not sure how to play my overpair on the flop and turn, in retrospect I think I could have played the hand more aggressively. Any suggestions how to play a similar hand the next time?

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with J♦, J♣
4 folds, Hero raises, MP3 calls, CO folds, BU 3-bets, SB folds, BB calls, Hero calls, MP3 calls.
After 3-bet from Button I just called, maybe a cap would give me initiative and isolate button?
Flop: (12.50 SB) 6♥, 5♠, T♣ (4 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, MP3 checks, BU bets, BB calls, Hero calls, MP3 folds.
I still have an overpair but am not sure what Button could have, I put him on a high pair[QQ,KK,AA] or AK.
Turn: (7.75 BB) 5♦ (3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, BU bets, BB calls, Hero calls.
Not a dangerous card for me, because of the pre-flop activity. Still the button bets again and I want a cheap showdown so c/c
River: (10.75 BB) 9♥ (3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, BU checks.
river is checked down.
Final Pot: 10.75 BB
I didnt have any reads on button and BB so wasnt sure how to proceed.
