[Closed] hit and runners to the head in

Deep breaths my friend. I know it sucks right now but just forget about it. It's part of the game and there's no way around it.

Hit and run is the most annoying thing in online poker and its best to accept it as a reality and shrug it off.

The amount of times today I've been hit and run is crazy. It happens.

ye i know its part of the game but it should get to the point were its unethical, i would have no prob if the guy sat down and after winning the frist hand played tight chilled out get a few hands even take a few $$$ off me but dam its annoying with things like this happen my friend who was with me when it happened said thats why he only plays stt or mtt's people cant get 1 hand then run and its a good point he made, i know im rambling a bit but hit and runners is bad bad for poker especialy in the sceanario were they play one hand and leggit

because good players exploit their edge against worse players and are willing to stay if they feel they have an edge.

if they hit and run, it means they either think they are worse than you and are happy to walk out with a profit, or they're not properly rolled for that limit so that little bit of profit means a lot to them. loss aversion plays a part in it too - people naturally hate being stuck more than they like being up. so if they can avoid the loss and get out of there with a win, its good for their ego and limits losses they would occur otherwise.

ah i get you although there is payers who play limits there bank roll is grand at and are good players but sti hit and run and i know look were here to make money but thats what biths do, if some fella tryed to hit and run me in a real casino there would be reprecutions involving me and my money being reunited if ye get me

please find me these players who are 'good players' and are sufficiently rolled for their limits.

i have yet to meet a hit and runner who is a good player.

also, it makes no sense to beat up or even threaten someone over money that he won from you fairly. not sure what the laws are in your country, but there would be some fun assault charges coming your way if you decided to pull a stunt like that.

i don't know who van marcus is. show me his graph. you don't know what his bankroll is, perhaps he has a staker who stipulates that he quits after winning one buyin because of tilt/loss aversion issues.

he is an australian i think red pro that plays on full tilt usualy higher stakes plo HU but always hits and runs like almost everytime i see him play, and every time he plays trex ( urindangers bro, i think) he always takes a lil profit nd runs to a diff table

he is well despised as a shortstacker (not necessarily a hitnrunner) with very poor postflop game.

playing poker for 2 hands or so is still poker, just not much of it. if something as petty as someone leaving after two hands bothers you, then i dont know what to say.

financial traders make there living by carrying out quick trades then "hit n running" and they do not for a second have sympathy for the people who lost in those trades and believe that they should "let them win some back"(lol) poker is also a game for making money at the expense of others and UNLESS you are playing against friends in a home game or a live game then it is no different to financial trading and the notion of "letting your opponent win some back" is frankly ridiculous.
