BTN: t2305 57.62 BBs

BB: t1500 37.50 BBs

Pre Flop: (t60) Hero is UTG+1 with A :diamond: K
1 fold, Hero raises to t120, 2 folds, CO raises to t400, BTN calls t400, 2 folds HERO?

what I knew was, that BTN waws calling wide here, and no real reads on CO, can it be profitable to push here and hopefully go to showdows with CO plus probably extra 400 chips from BTN? Or too early to go such risk and flod is better?

The unknown CO's 3-bet should concern you, but if you think the BTN would cold-call the 3-bet with a wide range, then pushing should be better than folding. It's never too early to get your whole stack in, and in fact, the ICM says you are less risk-averse with 8 players left than you will be closer to the bubble.

If you have enough hands on the CO to know that he is a reg who will only 3-bet an early position raise with something like QQ+, then you can fold. Against unknown players, you will find a lot of crazy 3-bets with hands like KQ, 66, etc. which might be fine to 3-bet against a button raise, but not against an early position raise.

Shoving is probably the optimal play, but I would probably just call the 280 into a pot of that size (~1000).

On the flop, if an A or a K hit, I'm shoving vs 2 opponents - if CO has AA or KK too bad for me. If an A or K doesn't hit, I'm check-folding.
