First time playing PLO, is this standard? Villain is 20bb/100 loser over ~70k hands of PLO, my reads so far abt his postflop play IP is that when he makes a cbet of 2$ he's weak, and when he makes it 2.5$ seems to be stronger (something in range of draws/two pairs I'd guess), he wouldn't go over the top vs my flop c/r without a set tho I'd guess.

The only problem with your hand is that you have absolutely no showdown value at all with it. So when you check raise you're hoping to get it in rather than see a turn card where it gets difficult if you don't improve.
That said you need to check raise this flop as if you're only check raising with sets/2 pair hands you're going to find yourself exploited.
That said I would be expecting to win the pot on the turn once I hit, so i'd make a similar sized bet (though sometimes I might bet full pot for metagame reasons, it's better to bet bigger out of position when it's an amount that commits you to the pot.
The whole hand played out pretty standard and I wouldn't be surprised if he turned over another straight. :f_biggrin:
