Is it ever right to fold this on the flop ?
The action was pretty big and I still had a mediocre hand at the time with the top pair 10 kicker, 10 outs for improvement.

Good call imo. I don't give much credit to shortstacks allins, especially on NL5 when u can be sure they don't play proper SSS.


I wouldn't lead here on the flop, that kind of flop can hit villains so many ways, other than that I think it's played fine.


Why ? It's shorthanded and there were no preflop raises, so at that point, I assumed that top pair might just as well be the better hand at that stage. Wrong assumption ?

I like your play. With top pair +OESD I would definitely go broke against the short stacks. The flop bet is good because you have a good hand and you would like to take down the pot right away. Nice hand!
