as played i would reraise it to 20-22$ (2x his raise+pot) 36;16 = 2.25:1 and if he has a Axs flushdraw or smthing he's a 3:1 dog
imo 32$ is too big too protect.
As regards preflop, I'm still sticking to the SHC for FR, which indicates a call behind a limper, or a raise first in. I think raising here would also be fine, and it might take down more pots uncontested, but limping in and playing for set value could end up taking down bigger pots.
I will need to be more aggressive preflop eventually with hands like this.
I think I like your amounts better. Good reasons, try to put him on a hand and take away his odds. $32 would seem a bit high, because really, I want to be called here by worse hands.
I would raise 4BB preflop. As played I would raise standard $18 on the flop with the intention to go allin on the turn.

Yes, I'm used to that as well. This hand is from my first NL200 BSS session. I raised x3, $18, which was about standard move. There were plenty of draws, and still three opponents. Everyone folded.
Pot sweetener raises for pots like these are nice preflop. As played just raise 20ish.
