2 things about this hand

1. This is an easy shove preflop but i figured it should be good enough to induce against tha ~11bb stacks behind me who should shove many Ax type hands. but will probably fold out the weakest of that range if i shove.

2. BB was aggressive, so i think his small bet on the dry flop has many air hands and maybe sometimes a made hand to induce. So i chose go just go broke with the good odds.

From ICM Explorer, we need 43.24 to call a BB resteal

55 vs 22+,A2s+,KJs+,A2o+,KQo (reasonably tight resteal range) is 48.1%

ok this hand isnt very good to 'induce' a re-steal with.

you dont want to induce overcards to shove over you here because you are only a slight fav against those hands, you might get a few extra Ax and small pairs that you dominate into the re-steal range, but along with those hands come a lot of other combos that have a tonne of hot and cold equity against you (which you would much rather just have fold pre)

so shovign this pre is better than raising to induce.

raising a hand like 99 to induce is better because there are less combos of overs that we are scared of. the lower the pair the more 'flip' combos we are inducing from his range which ends up being bad for our equity.
