Time to gamble?

its time to gamble alright, but this is like playing blackjack with the dealer being dealt the deck with all aces and face cards, and we only get the numbered cards (odds are horribly stacked against us).

prolly just fold this and get it in with w/eva the next hand.

No way to fold here. You get 1:2.5 to call here against your direct opponent. If you fold and win next hand you are still the shortest stack (+ you have below 50% chance to win next hand).

If we fold and double up the next hand vs BB, we will be at 1728 and he will be at 1818, hitting the SB right after that. So we're actually still in a folding war then, assuming everyone folds to us and we win from the SB.

does it really matter so much what we do here? both options seem like a big gamble either way.

Yes gamble either way, but if we gamble now there is way more to win. Win this and hero is almost always in the money.

Crying call. Sucks so much but folding kills us (gives our direct opponent a decent stack uncontested and we have no FE).

yep bad spot for us, but getting it in here against our direct opponent is the best option.. sucks but its the best chance of getting ITM imo
