Bluff to induce v TWO players isn't best policy, I prefer bet-fold river. Tho I probably check call turn anyway.

Flop and turn are good imo. On the river, lead out with the bet and fold to a raise. I think you have the best hand most of the times and a weaker hand can pay you off here. So bet for value, chances are that he checks down with a weaker hand with which he also might have called.

You line does not make sense to me...

If you are playing for pot control once you hit Top Pair then why call the bet preflop in the firstplace?

If you think villain is raising with better aces and not raising with AT or worse then fold preflop.

If you are sure he is raising with a ton of worse hands then you can even isolate him here.

Pick a side of the fence IMO either fold it pre or play it for value but calling a raise and then
not value betting this river with a made hand is pointless. If you have a solid read that you can
induce a bluff on the river then it is profitable but most passive villains are just going to check
behind with their pockets or whatever hand they would have called your bet with thinking you
were bluffing on the turn or you yourself do not have an ace but a hand their pocket can beat
for example.

I mostly fold this hand as this is a marginal situation.. against "regs" always.. against laggy I might 3bet or call.. against unknowns I sometimes call..

Ok I agree with you.. this is one of those example I said where you might have been correct to say that I tend to play passively in some spots ;)..

The preflop raiser folded on the turn. The CO open-limp/called preflop, which suggests a bad player with a weak range. I would not worry about AK or AQ in his range, since hands like A4 and JT are more likely. I would bet the river for value, probably folding to a raise since I don't think there will be many bluff raises.
