Would c/c be the better option in the river and in that case, would we call an AI from the villain too?

He called your preflop bet. There are only two hands that beat you which may have called: AJ and eventually KJ (berk!). In my opinion it's an easy RERERERERAISE. If he has the jack with KJ or AJ, sobe it. If he has a jack with a bad hand, he played badly.

Am i right?

nh against unknown or passiv.

If villian is aggressiv c/c river is better then bet/call.
He gets the chance to bluff some bustet draws.

You are right that he would have played it poorly with a weak jack. If I should have reraiseed on the flop is an interesting question. I very rarely re-re-raise on the flop (since I will easily be able to get AI by the river anyway) and I probably only get hands that beat me to call, which would leave me in a difficult situation on the turn (especially if the FD completes) since I would have invested a huge part of my stack and still have an overpair...
I prefer to call the flop raise and re-evaluate on the turn..
