Don't like the turn check. Any pocket pair above 55 is likely to call here and when you check the turn TT and JJ would surely bet the river.

Also think you should call the river, you win 1 in 3 here.

call river. He can bet JJ/TT or some stange hands (and I have seen very strange hands in this situations... )

Why don't you bet turn for protection? I think overpair is worth the bet, moreover in heads-up.
Moreover, if your opponent called with a straight draw, you have to bet on turn to make him pay a lot for the card (by don't betting, he had 2 cards for 87 : 36, quite cheap for a draw at 2 : 1).

Also, i would tend to call the river bet.

Your check on the turn might have been taken for a leak, and he bet to exploit it. There are not a lot of hands you're behind imo.

I think a call on the river is fine, there is a good chance you are beaten but also a reasonable chance he has a modest hand or is bluffing. This decision is hard because you checked the turn. You could have value bet the turn and given up on the river, keeping the pot a little smaller if u were worried.

hmmm i like the check on the turn against a TAG.
You don´t need protection and you get more money of lower PPs.
Against fishes it is a easy push on the turn.
