Dealt to Hero A♠ K♠

FLOP ($1.95) 6♣ Q♠ A♥

UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $1.20, UTG+1 calls $1.20

TURN ($4.35) 6♣ Q♠ A♥ 3♥

RIVER ($8.35) 6♣ Q♠ A♥ 3♥ 9♠

UTG+1 checks, Hero ????

vpip: 44, pfr: 44, 9 hands

He is loose so he could call 3bet with worse aces, but i think by river there is not too many worse hands to call third bet, so is shoving the best play? Or bet small but i would have to call a shove anyway.

Hello nktns,

Nice you see your posts again! I'd likely just bet bigger on turn and have an easy shove on river, as you mentioned you an be Calling with a lot worse cards then why not to take value there, unlucky if he has a better hand, hope to get him next time. :f_cool:

Best regards.

Nice to see your answers aswell. :)

In fact i took passive line checked back river and took it down. He had AdTd. Betting turn bigger and shoving river sounds reasonable, but shouldn't we still fold against raise on turn?

I don't expect that often to get raised there because there ain't many hands there in his range what could beat us, QQ? He would likely raise preflop, Q6, don't really think he would play such hands but never know such a fish. Q3? Mostly no, A3 could be thinkable but also rarely and the small sets are also rare situations for example 66 only on flop because 33 he often folds on such flop. So however on turn we might even go broke against such a fish of course it also depends on the stats and his AF but. Only reasonable hand what would raise us on turn would be AQ. Also take into consideration that it's 3bet pot, likely broke.
