i think you are maniac here playing such cards. opponents see your cards and will never respect your raises which can be good when you hit strong flops - but most of times you wont. so tighten up your preflop game and you should be fine..

I've run into ACTUAL tight fishes before. They'll fold every hand for 10mins then when they pick up a hand they'll go all-in for a pot of 30 :). It's pretty funny...

thats not fishing, thats being dumb :p. fishing = trying to find a hand against pot odds, being a fish is even good sometimes, with proper implied odds.

I have JJ, a dude raises to 4xBB.
Headsup flop:
4-7-J. The dude bets half my stack. I hold the nutz so i go allin. He shows QQ. Turn A. River Q ofc what else card.

I have KK, raise to 4xBB. Dealer raises allin. I call. Dealer shows 2-7d.
Flop: 2-2-5 (!).
Turn: 6.
River: 7 (!!!!).

you should NEVER have 25 dollar with blinds .25/.50. I'm sorry, but with such play you are kinda doing it to yourself. You either bye in max or 2x min., 50bucks or 10 bucks. 25 bucks is not smart and not according to the rules of this site. Stick to brm and to either bss or sss or tourney rules, don't make up your own.

bs(max is good, because you can play a lot for implied odds.
ss(2x min) is good, because you can play for reverse implied odds, and 20x bb is just enough to get some folding equity.

I feel that 20 dollars fits very well for my play. But i normaly play big stack.

why? If you play for the flop, you have to play bss, because a big stack means that you can win more money on your monsters. If you play preflop you have to play small stack, so you can't lose much money on their monsters, i really don't understand why you would want to be the avg. stack. There is no playing style that suits that stacksize. Hence your downswing maybe?

It would also be interesting to mention how many 20$ buy-ins you have totally.

I dont know how many but there been some yes, but it iant the buy in i use most.
I use the 10 dollar buyin. Or 20 with higher stakes.
