1 way of winning out of 990 possible outcomes = 0.001%
That's the chance of a suckout. There are a further 12 ways to chop like running aces or ace & king.

I agree, that was just a typo from rushing. My point was it's nothing close to 0.71%
Actually 0.101% is what I meant to type. Thanks for correcting.
Officially, suit doesn't carry weight in Hold'em.
I am personally inclined to agree with you though.

I actually does, when dealing cards to know who will start as a dealer suits matter if 2 players have like K. As i remember suits goes like this
Suit is completely irrelevant in texas holdem.
It only matters in games like Stud when choosing who makes the bring in ♠_love:
AFAIK the ranking of suits in poker is the same as in Bridge which is -
This has no impact in holdem as such but does in games such as stud and 5 card draw where 2 players can have otherwise equal hands (both have a K high str8 flush for example).
Where I play, if 2 players pick the same highest ranking card when looking to see who is dealer then another card is chosen by each with the winner of that being dealer. I have seen both players have Q then 6 then 8 before picking different ranked cards.

And it has also a reason, not just agreement. They are sorted alphabetically.
Spade > Heart > Diamond > Club
