Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Texas Grabem 1.9 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A♣, 3♣
3 folds, Hero calls $0.04, 2 folds, BU calls $0.04, SB calls $0.02, BB checks.

Flop: ($0.16) 8♣, A♠, 6♣ (4 players)
SB checks, BB bets $0.09, Hero raises to $0.24, 2 folds, BB raises to $0.44, Hero calls $0.20.

Turn: ($1.04) 3♠ (2 players)
BB bets $0.88, Hero calls $0.88.

River: ($2.80) 7♠ (2 players)
BB bets $3, Hero calls $3.00.

Final Pot: $8.80

is calling it down correct?

Yes indeed. The only thing i my opnion that could beat you was a set.

At NL5 he could easily have A8 or A6 as well that beats him but I think you played it ok though. At higher limits I could fold this to a good opponent because he could have a set but at NL5 there are plenty of fish who makes these moves with AK or AQ and even AJ

hehe he had A2o ♦ sometimes these limits are funny....other times they r just so frustrating! lol

Fold preflop, you don't have a playable hand there.

With 2 pair, the nut flush draw, push the turn? Hard to say, without stack sizes.

Fold preflop. You have a weak hand. Flop play is ok, but I would raise on the turn with two pair and nutflush draw. But as already mentioned: stack sizes would be helpful.
