I think I played this fine but is there anything I could have done better?

Full Tilt, $20 + $2 NL Hold'em Tournament, 50/100 Blinds, 7 Players

Hero raises to 250, 4 folds, SB raises to 355 and is All-In, BB calls 255, Hero calls 105

Flop: (1,065) 6♣ T♦ 3♠ (3 Players - 1 is All-In)
BB checks, Hero bets 550, BB calls 550

Turn: (2,165) 4♣ (3 Players - 1 is All-In)
BB checks, Hero bets 725 and is All-In, BB folds

River: (2,165) 6♥ (2 Players - 2 are All-In)

Results: 2,165 Pot
Hero showed A♣ T♣ and WON 2,165 (+1,260 NET)
SB showed Q♣ 9♥ and LOST (-305 NET)

reads on BB? i 4bet shove pre if he is loose.

post-flop is good

You can't shove pre. sb didn't meet the minraise requirement so hero can only call or fold.

I think you can open bit smaller (225) but other than that wp.

I'm feeling like a fish here... :f_confused: Why are we opening up so loosely from the utg?

Why not? UTG raise is stronger than a raise from later positions, ATs flops quite well and this also balances our range so we can get more value from out top hands.

we're only raising into 6 opponents. and the SB is very short, so really we are raising into 5 opponents.

might muck on loose tables. but always raising on tight tables

I don't like pre as well.
Postflop is very fine, Imho the only way we can play the hand.
