I was of course worry of a 7, 55 or a KK+ with the donk bet. I also thought that a lot of lower pairs would bet so decided to play it way ahead/way behind.
fortunately the turn gave me the second nut so folding was not any more an option . I could have also 3 bet the turn but villain seem aggressive enough, I had position and did not want to scare him away. the question is more on my flop call.

given that anyway he would put me all in by the river. ( although I did not know that yet). My reason for calling was not to increase the size of the pot at this time. Was a push or a raise a better option on the flop?

Hi,

I would not be afraid of:
KK+ ==> 3bet pre
55 ==> 1 combo

So his range is really narrow towards 86s, 87s,67s,88-JJ, random overcards etc.

Calldown like this (with or without hitting your nuts card) is absolutely fine. I mean you hit THE nuts on the TUrn, not 2nd nuts as flopping quads is really really difficult (0.0001% )

Best regards,
Gerv
