I think turn check is better than bet. It really is way ahead, way behind-situation and you will never get 3 streets of value here so you might as well bet the river. Check also induces bluffs. I call the river, but it is not really fistpump snapcall. Still a call since turn should induce some bluffs and we only have to win 28% of time.

you want to bet turn to get value from worse Kx and clubs.

on river, you wont get value from worse Kx if a club hits, and you wont get value from a club if it misses. turn is best spot for value because a lot of rivers will either kill your action or hit villain's range.

[edit] not going for 3 streets. i like bet turn/check behind river

What worse kings does oppponent have in their range though? Turn already made the only draw in play. I don't think 15/11 calls your raise from sb with crap like A4o so most hands with clubs he has are pocket pairs. I don't want to get cr on turn. River is club only 20% of time and he doesn't most of time even have the club.

i guess check behind turn, call river. or bet river if checked to. is fine as well.

but i think ur missing out on value from hands like 99-JJ with 1 :club: that will always call on teh turn but rarely call river when you value-bet.

I just think he 3-bets those. Of course, not everyone does. But yeah, with check behind you will sometimes lose value from pockets.

I btw personally hate playing pockets with club postflop in spots like these since you can't really call another bet on river if club come.

Hmm I think I am checking the turn as well, I don't think many midpairs will call flop and turn, but I can get value from these by betting the river. And by checking we always see a showdown, cause I am calling the river. So if he bluffs we will not scare him out, which is some addedvalue.
