Best Stand up comedians

Some of you might already know from my fanboi postings, that I am a huge Ricky Gervais fan. Last night I watched his Stand Up program Science on DVD (I actually had tickets for one of his shows in London in Spring, but couldn't go due to sickness :f_cry: ).
While I was chuckling along, my girlfriend didn't find it very funny. So we had a debate about the best Stand Up comedians. Here are my nominations.

Let the battle begin, this is my top five, who are yours?

5: Chris Rock

4: Dave Chappelle

3: Ricky Gervais

2: Billy Connoly

1: Robin Williams

George Carlin was undoubtedly one of the great. What a character.

I found Jimmy Carrs routine rather interesting. Not your conventional Stand up. I find it a little tiring to follow his jumps from random joke to random joke, BUT there is always something to laugh about, in his 10 minutes bits.
What I am saying is: I wouldn't say I like him, but he surely delivers.

I didn't know Kevin Bridges, have to check out more from him

How weird is the Woody Allen Moose bit? That is really Stand up from another time.

Now I am looking forward to tonight, when I am going to check out the other vids.

FYI Robin Williams is one of the biggest thieves of jokes there is according to some other comedians. If they saw him in the audience at one of their gigs, they would never use new material as it would end up on TV the next day
