May as well post news and updates here. CBF starting a blog for just 1 tournament series, especially when I'm going to play 2 tournaments (was going to be 3).

Got here at about noon local time and to the casino at ~1pm. late registered for a 2200AUD 6max tournament and proceeded to run like god over the whole day. I now have 133k going into the final table. Other notable runners today included our own Bongbob and his German crew as well as fulltilt pros Van Marcus and Jonathan Karamalikis.

Chipcounts going into the final table are something like:

Heinz (one of Bongbob's friends) with 370k
Me with 133k
Van Marcus with 110k

Not sure abuot the others. Average is around 120-130k.

Heinz played an interesting hand against my staker. Board is reading AJT6x no flush possible and it was checked all the way down to the river. Heinz announces "bet" on the river, and my staker announces "call" before hearing the amount. Floor decides that Heinz can make it whatever he wants, so he ships it in for 15k into the 1k pot with KQ.

Congrats, well done sir :f_thumbsup:

what a huge mistake for your staker.

Not only did he cost himself a ton of chips. He also potentially lost out on what could've been a first since he doubled up the eventual winner.

Chenny is probably celebrating that as well, seeing that he is a Kiwi.

Is that not an Australian state?

it is. unfortunately i don't consider watching grass grow for 10 hours a day a spectator sport

GL in day 2 chenny!!

Rushing over to table nine we found Tony Guoga exiting his chair and making his way out the door.

Asking the table on the exact details of his bustout, we found out that he held {J-}{J-} against Jackson Zheng's {K-}{K-}, and when he failed to improve, Guoga was forced to exit the main event as Zheng climbs to 98,000 in chips.

go go chenny knock out tony G!

woooooo gl chenny

Brotha D's last chips were in on a flop of 7♠4♥5♥ and he held 7♣4♣ for two pair and the lead as fellow Kiwi Jackson Zheng was drawing with his 6♥6♠.

The turn 8♥ was snapped by the dealer to give Zheng his straight which held through the 9♦ river. Brotha D is out as Zheng moved up to 140,000.

This is Brotha D.

I hope Chenny's brought more backup than just <3

Jackson Zheng Busted
Heinz Kamutzki 79,200
Konstantin Bücherl 260,000
